Cheesy Okra Fries with Spicy Remoulade


The Okra
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch cayenne
3/4 cup buttermilk and 1 egg in a bowl
Flour, in a bowl
Whole okra
Grapeseed oil
The Remoulade
1 cup 2% mayo
1 teaspoon worchestershire
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon pickle brine
1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
2 tablespoons minced capers
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup minced parsley
2 minced green onions
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cayenne
2 tablespoons horseradish

The Okra
1. Combine the first 5 ingredients. Dip the okra successively into flour, egg wash, then cornmeal mixture. Heat oil to 350 degrees fry okra 91 per serving if good size)
The remoulade
1. Combine all, chill.
