As we go through life we get caught up in so many daily activities that we forget to work on our stress management in order to help our bodies and live a healthier life. Remember to take care of yourself so that you are able to take care of others. This is wise advice that instinctively we all know to be correct, but that women often have a great deal of difficulty following.

Sugar Cookie Recipe

  1. Beat ½ cup (one stick) unsalted butter with an electric mixer until fluffy
  2. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and beat until well blended
  3. Blend in 1/3 cup sour cream, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. vanilla
  4. Blend in 2 cups of all-purpose flour—add about ½ cup at a time
  5. Put into a bowl, cover and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight
  6. Roll out onto a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters
  7. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 7 – 10 minutes
