Muscle mass begins to decline in our 30s and keeps decreasing unless we lift weights or do some form of resistance training regularly.  The bad news: losing muscle tissue affects how we look, how our bodies function and how we feel.  Plus, when we lose too much muscle, we become more vulnerable to injuries and find weight loss more difficult.

If the ends of the branches appear to have been shaped with a pencil sharpener with a jagged center it is likely the work of the twig girdler beetle.
