Just Add Water

Join Linda for this Dynamic Water Walking program in the shallow or deep end of the pool. Due to the water’s resistance, walking 30 minutes in the water is equivalent to 3 miles on land.  This is a great warm-up class prior to the cardio aqua classes.  Start your day with a morning walk in the Pool enjoying the sounds of nature.

This Powerhouse Aquatic Program incorporates H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training).  Get fit using timed intervals of flutter kicking, followed by a short recovery and strength training exercises improving cardiovascular and muscular conditioning and providing maximum calories burned.

R & R in Peaceful Waters

Relax and restore muscle balance by passively stretching the tired muscles and increasing flexibility with functional movements.  Disciplines of Yoga, Pilates and  Ai Chi, are incorporated bringing the mind, body and spirit together. 

Linda has been in the aquatic industry for 30+ years.  She currently is the Water Fitness Coordinator and Aquatic Personal Trainer for The Houstonian Hotel and Spa.  She is a frequent contributor to AKWA and was an AEA Provider.  She has contributed articles to Fitness magazines and has done numerous public speaking engagements.  Her certifications include:  AEA, AFAA, ACE, WSI,  AAAI/ASMI YOGA, ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION, SCW DEEP WATER SPECIALIST, and AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD.  Linda enjoys sharing her special gift of teaching and her love of the water.  In 1999, Linda won the USWFA National Championship in Florida and in 2000, nationally acclaimed “Allure” magazine rated Linda’s Houstonian class as one of the top ten fitness classes in the country.  For the past 12 years Linda has taken her classes around the world on “Fitness Cruises”.  For more information regarding Linda’s Aquatic Workshops or Fitness Cruises,
