WATER TAXI

By far our favorite mode of transportation, our water taxi conveniently sets sail from Downtown Austin. Enjoy a scenic 40-minute ride from Walsh Landing, just a 15-minute ride share away from the airport. Reserve your ride online or call our concierge to schedule at 512.372.7274.

Luxury Vehicle Service by Lone Star Limousine
Guests will be greeted at baggage claim by a driver and escorted to the car. Sedans, Limousines, and SUVs are available. Major credit cards and cash are accepted. Reservations are required. For reservations, contact Lone Star Limousine at 512.990.8482.

Taxi and Rideshare Apps
Taxis and rideshare services are located in an area towards the back of the rental car parking garage. Follow the signs from the baggage claim area.

Supershuttle
SuperShuttle is a multi-party transportation service. The shuttle may stop for other riders prior to arriving at Lake Austin Spa Resort, so the trip may take up to two hours. SuperShuttle is located on the ground floor, exit baggage claim area #1. The shuttles are blue vans with yellow writing. SuperShuttle accepts all major credit cards. Being a small resort, all cancellations affect us significantly. All guest reservations are subject to our cancellation policy, and it is strictly adhered to.

Cancellation & Deposit Policy

A $1,000 deposit per person is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. Cancellations or changes made 21 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Deposits for reservations canceled or changed 22 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in 5-7 business days. The remaining balance is due on the day of arrival. No refunds will be made for early departures.

Overnight and spa guests of Lake Austin Spa Resort must be 16 years of age or older. Guests between the ages of 16-18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lake Austin Spa Resort is situated in the Texas Hill Country. The property is a non-contiguous, multi-level design with stairs, ramps, and low-grade inclines in select areas. If you have special mobility requirements, please contact us in advance of your stay so that we may address your needs to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Lake Austin Spa Resort is well known for its casual, relaxed atmosphere. This eliminates the need for items you might otherwise feel you need, such as dress clothes or jewelry.

We offer a variety of movement options throughout the day, so you will want comfortable clothes and shoes. We recommend bringing two pairs of shoes—both indoor fitness shoes and outdoor trail shoes—as some of our hikes have muddy, slippery and rocky terrains.

Each room has complimentary amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, soap, bath salts, and lotion. A hair dryer, umbrella, slippers, safe, mini-refrigerator, and robe are also in your room for your convenience. Plus-size robes are available upon request. Lake Austin Spa Resort provides complimentary spa sandals for your comfort during your visit, and they are yours to take home at the end of your stay.

A 24-hour complimentary laundry room is located adjacent to Room 27. Detergent is provided. If you prefer, housekeeping will launder your clothing. Please contact Guest Services for assistance.

We honor Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Personal checks and cash are also accepted in U.S. dollars.

Two days prior to your arrival we will automatically collect full payment for your reservation, charged to the credit card provided. All purchases and services at Lake Austin Spa Resort can be charged directly to your room.

Additional purchases such as boutique merchandise, additional spa services, personal instruction sessions, and spa products will be itemized for your review upon check-out. Questions concerning charges should be discussed with Guest Services before departure.

Lake Austin Spa Resort serves fine wines, assorted beer, and mixed cocktails. Our culinary team has selected a variety of choices that will perfectly complement our award-winning spa cuisine. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages into our dining facilities or public areas; however, you may bring alcohol to enjoy in your guest rooms. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the LakeHouse Spa.

In the interest of health and well-being, Lake Austin Spa Resort is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Spa and Resort, except a designated area on the property that is comfortable and away from other guests. This is the only area that can be used for smoking. Please note this is a change in the policy; we no longer allow guests to smoke in or near the rooms. Any evidence of smoking in guest accommodations will result in a $1,000 fee to deodorize the Lady Bird Johnson Suite and a $500 fee for all other guest room types.

We’re thrilled to welcome dogs at Lake Austin Spa Resort. Indeed, dogs and the lake were made for each other. So, when you bring your pup or service dog along for your resort stay, they’ll be treated with thoughtful attention and specialized pet-friendly service. As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you silence cell phones and other devices while on property and request permission before filming or photographing any class or program. We allow cell phones to be available—and encourage you to share photos of your experience with us—but not heard. Thank you for understanding and unplugging with us.

The safety, security, and comfort of our guests are of the utmost importance to us, and our policy on firearms was designed with this in mind. Careful consideration has been given to our policy and to ensuring it is consistent with Texas law. Our premises are a private property and Lake Austin Spa Resort and the LakeHouse Spa prohibit any person from openly carrying any firearm in an unconcealed or concealed manner.

The LakeHouse Spa is a casual environment—feel free to wear your bathrobe and sandals provided in your accommodation. Our pools do require bathing suits, while the private men’s and women’s locker areas are clothing optional. Please dress to your comfort level—undergarments under bathrobes are optional.

All jewelry and other personal belongings should be removed prior to spa services, but it is preferred that they be left at home. Lockers are provided to secure your personal belongings; however, Lake Austin Spa Resort is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

To make your spa visit more comfortable, the LakeHouse Spa will fulfill a therapist gender request whenever possible. If you do have a male or female preference, we suggest that the request be made at the time of booking your spa reservation. You may always contact a Spa Reservations Specialist at (512) 372-7380 to specify your therapist preference.

Plan to arrive at the LakeHouse Spa no later than 30 minutes prior to your first treatment time. If you wish to enjoy the showers, steam room, sauna, or hot tub before your spa treatment, please be sure to leave adequate time so you aren’t rushed. Each appointment is precisely timed so if you arrive late, your spa service time may be shortened. In the event that you are late to an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee your full-service time.
