People have been immersing themselves in cold water for centuries - for physical effects as well as mental resilience. Science documents that cold water can have positive effects on circulation, cardiovascular health, immunity, mindset, performance, sleep and much more. In Lake Austin, we have the amazing benefits of cold water in a natural, therapeutic "wild water" experience!*
Come join our Activities team as we take a slow, intensional immersion together - a short 30-second up to 3 or 4 minutes to feel the effects and perhaps decide on how to add the therapeutic benefits of cold water to your wellness routine!*
Wear your swimsuit, robe and warm clothes. Some guests enjoy wearing a beanie or wool cap for the plunge as well. Towels are available on the dock. There are no changing rooms on the dock.
