Maria Garrett is an Executive Coach and seasoned Talent Development Leader with more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering HR strategies, talent development programs, change initiatives, enterprise-spanning organizational effectiveness and leadership team interventions.
Today, she runs a boutique leadership coaching & consulting firm based out of Austin, Texas serving the development needs and interests of top corporate leaders from across the globe.

Maria is also a 9-year survivor of Breast Cancer. In 2015, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. The diagnosis was a surprise. The treatment regimen was extensive. And life was changed forever.

Despite the surprising disruption that breast cancer introduced to her otherwise normal, middle-aged life, Maria was able to find healing, comfort, solace, and hope from friends, family, and from the amazing services provided by the Breast Cancer Resource Center, a local nonprofit
organization whose entire mission is designed to ensure that no one in our community has to face a breast cancer diagnosis alone.

After receiving support services from the organization and working through her own recovery, Maria committed herself to giving back to the BCRC through donations of time and money, volunteerism, and Board Service. Today, she presides as Secretary of the Board of Directors for BCRC.
